THE
FACULTY
The American Theological Seminary faculty is comprised
of professional ministers and professors of theology. Every full-time
and adjunt professor has either a doctorate degree and/or a minimum
of ten years of experience in his/her field. Many members of the
faculty have published articles and books of great importance to
all Christians.
We recognize that the faculty of any seminary is the Primary resource
in the education process. Therefore, the Appointment and development
of our professors have always been a key part of our institutional
planning. Besides
demonstrated knowledge, attitude, and skills to guide our students,
a prospective faculty must have a ministry passion that overflows
with scholarship and enthusiasm. He is not to communicate head to
head, but heart to heart. Finally, he must have the personality
and creative ability to work closely
with other professors, administrators, and students to foster the
family environment which has long been the hallmark of a ATS education.
