PROPGRAM OBJECTIVES
The purpose of these non-degree certification programs is:
to train those students who seek to devote their lives on the God-given mission of parish caring and mission (both foreign and home). General education is subsumed in all degree programs and not needed for any of the certification programs. Their respective purposes and requirements are discussed in the following sections.

COLLOQUY PROGRAM
The colloquy program for the pastoral ministry is arranged under the auspices of the Colloquy Committee of the Pacific Presbytery of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Churches, which consists of two officers of the Presbytery and the
President of the seminary. The seminary provides the academic instruction for the pastors who enter the program from other denominations. The Colloquy Examining Committee of the seminary recommends candidates to the
Colloquy Committee for approval and admission into the program. The Colloquy Examining Committee also interviews these students after their academic work is completed, and recommends them to seminary faculty for endorsement and
certification for the ministry.

COLLOQUY - M. Div. RELATIONSHIP
Students who complete the colloquy program and, after spending time in the parish, wish to return to the seminary to complete the requirements for the M. Div. degree are granted some flexibility in their program.

They need to make-up the difference between the M. Div. level hours that they have already completed and the total number required for the M. Div. degree.
