PAYMENT OF
ACCOUNT
Tuition is due in full at registration.
Interim and seasonal accounts are due in full on the first day of
the program. A student whose account is not current may not
register for the next session. A transcript or letter of reference
will not be sent out for a student whose account is not current.
Granting of a diploma or certificate will be withheld from students
who have not settled their account. |
| |
WORK SCHOLARSHIPS
A limited number of work scholarships are available to students
who have definite financial needs. These will normally be awarded
to regularly enrolled students taking 12 hours or more. |
| |
THE SONG FAMILY
SCHOLARSHIP FUND
Michael and Elizabeth Song & Family offer an annual scholarship
to seminary students in the Master of Divinity program. Interested
applicants may fill out a form for consideration and review by the
Board. |
| |
HOME CONGREGATION
The Seminary encourages home congregations to consider a minimum
gift of $500 per academic year.
However, many congregations exceed that amount and some even set
a goal to cover tuition costs. |
| |
GOOD STANDING
A student enrolled in the M. Div. Program of study is considered
in good standing if allowed to continue in that program at American
Theological Seminary. |
| |
SATISFACTORY
PROGRESS
Satisfactory progress is defined as successfully completing course
requirements for 75% of the number of credits for which a student
enrolls and receives financial aid each semester, thereby making
it possible for a student to
make good progress toward a degree or certificate objective.
¡°Successfully completing course requirements¡± is interpreted to
mean that a grade of at least D- or S is received by a student.
|
| |
FINANCIAL AID
ELIGIBILITY WARNING STATUS
When a student does not successfully complete 75% of the number
of credits for which funding is approved during the term, financial
aid eligibility warning status is imposed.
Aid automatically continues through one semester of financial aid
eligibility warning status. If a student does not make satisfactory
progress during the term of financial eligibility warning status,
the student¡¯s eligibility for financial aid in later semester is
terminated. |
| |
REFUNDS
Students who withdraw from the Seminary during any academic term
